• Wine tasting tour, only valid from April to October, every Tuesday and Thursday, from 5:15pm til 6:45pm. Eur 29,00 (A pleasent afternoon in the wine cellar of an old palazzo in the city centre, in the company of an oil and wine expert in order to learn tasting techniques. Brief historical introduction to the wine and Chianti, outline of working in vineyards and olive-yards, wine making and cellars, oil pressing techniques and use of glasses according to wines. Tasting of four prestigious wines (2 reds, 1 white and Vinsanto, the typical Tuscan dessert wine) and of a smelling extra virgin olive oil, made by selected Tuscan producers. The sensorial analysis follows through visual, alfactory and tasting exam. The tasting will be served with Tuscan salami, canapés and bruschetta.
• Cooking course with lunch, only valid from April to October, every Monday, from 10:00am til 3:00pm Eur 67,00, (on this course you can learn to cook a typical everyday Tuscan meal, starting off by choosing the ingredients in season. Under the expert guidance of a multilingual chef, you will also visit the historic San Lorenzo central market, where you will select the ingredients that you will then use to prepare a four-course meal (starter-first course-main course and dessert) in a top class cookery school. The course will be followed by lunch with the dishes you have prepared, accompanied by a good Tuscan wine and a fun and friendly atmosphere)
• Excursion to Siena and San Gimignano, a full day tour, valid all year, from November to March every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, from 15 March to end of October every day of the week from 9:00am til 5:45pm Eur 52,00 (Beautiful excursion through the delightful hills of the Chianti countryside, with an ever-changing scenery of wineyards and olive trees. Upon arrival in Siena a guided tour of the old city centre, walking along the small medieval streets, admiring the splendid palaces and ending up at the Cathedral where you can visit the splendid interior including the Libreria Piccolomini and the adjacent Museo dell'Opera Metropolitana. The guided tour will conclude in the Piazza del Campo, one of the most beautiful in the world, where you will find the Palazzo del Comune (exterior). Free time for lunch (not included). Departure for San Gimignano a tiny city that has remained intact trough the centuries, situated on a hilltop, it is famous for its numerous Towers, Frescoes and other treasures, free time to discover this fascinating city. On the way back, trough the ample coach windows, you will be able to admire the ancient medieval hamlet of Monteriggioni enclosed by famous walls, still intact).
• Chianti wine-yeard excursion, valid all year every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, from 2:15pm til 7:00pm. Eur 40,00 (15 august not operating). (An excursion to one of the most suggestive areas of Tuscany, known all over the world for its wine and its countryside of unrivalled charm, where woods alternate with vineyards and olive groves, in a landscape dotted with Romanesque churches, farmhouses, villas and castles of rare beauty. This tour includes a visit to a site of particular historic and artistic interest in an ancient hamlet and to one of the most famous wine-growing estates, comlete with a snack and tasting of its prestigious wines).
• Chianti wine-yeard excursion with dinner, valid from March to October, every Tuesday and Friday, from 2:15pm til 10:45pm. Eur 70,00 (Weather permitting, dinner will be served in the open, wearing suitable clothing is suggested). (A journey trough the Chianti countryside, one of the most suggestive areas of Tuscany famous the world over for its wine, to reach a magnificient Castle. A visit to the gardens and the splendid cellar with its the famous barrels of the Chianti Classico wine. Stop for snack and wine tasting, followed by a visit to one of the most beautifull Romanesque churches in the area. For dinner, a typical meal with rich menu and excellent Chianti wine in the magical atmosphere of an old village among the hills).
• The best of Tuscany tour, valid all year every day except Sundays, from 8:30am til 8:30pm. Eur 80,00. (After a scenic drive, with views of the typical Tuscan countryside and Monteriggioni, we arrive in Siena, guided walk tracing the history of Siena from its evolution as financial capital with the "Monte dei Paschi", the oldest still working bank in the world to "Santa Maria della Scala", the first public hospital originally used to host medieval pilgrims, through ancient backstreets we get to the Cathedral, immediately recognizable for its large proportions, end in Piazza del Campo the square shaped like an enormous shell, twice a year the outer perimeter is fenced off and covered with sand to host the famous Palio horserace. Once back to the bus, we reach with a 45 minute journey a wine estate set on the Sienese hills, where Chianti wine is produced, delicious Tuscan lunch is served made of local organic products with wines of the region. After lunch San Gimignano is only few minutes away. It is considered the most beautiful medieval hilltop village in Italy. Next we enjoy views of the true Chianti countryside and of the most enchanting lands in the world with a patchwork different panoramas scattered with hilltop hamlets, little churches and castles. The feeling that time has stopped is hard to avoid above all when seeing along the way the bleak, isolated appearance of Volterra, one of the first settlements of the Etruscans from around the eight century BC, with stunning views over Calanchi. And for added value we reach Pisa where the image of the Leaning Tower is so familiar, but to see it first hand is quite breathtaking! Most people only expect to see a tower but the Field of Miracles always succeeds in exiting the imagination of its numerous and passionate visitors, here time to admire such a memorable sight with the Cathedral. Now back to Florence.
• Dinner in typical Trattoria, valid all year except Thuesdays and 15 days in August. Eur 30,00. (delicious 3 course meal from the menu of the day, includes red or white wine of the house, water and coffee, located only 10 minutes walking from our hotel this Trattoria is one of the best in town for eating Tuscan specialties, book your dinner through us you will save up to 40 percent from regular bill.
• Candlelight Dinner in excellent Restaurant of absolute oneness, valid all year every day. Eur 80,00. (this Romantic and delicious Restaurant located near the Cathedral of Florence, full menu of 4 course menu choose from the "A la carte" menu and served with selection of wine tasting depending of the dishes you have choose from your dinner, delightful atmosphere created with lights playng all over of very ancient Palace typical of medieval Florentine style. Restaurant normally frequented from local people jet set provide high standards of service for un unforgettable and romantic dinner.

All above services and price are per person, tours and excursions are confirmed and guaranteed if your booking is made at least 10 days prior arrival date, for any confirmed service, tour and excursion is not allowed to make change and/or cancellation free of charge, 100 percent penalty for all services, tours and excursions reserved will be charged on the credit card giving as guaranteed, before proceed your booking make sure to clarify your date of arrival.

All services, tours and excursions will be charged on your credit card ONLY if confirmed from the tour operator, our management decline any responsability for Guest's missing check-in point and/or missing the guide tour during excursions, no reimboursement is due no-show or late canellation.

Hotel Alamanni organises all tours and excursions in collaboration with renomate Tour Operator located in Florence and providing first class service bus, air-conditioning and with english spoken escorts, all tour and excursion required a minimum number of partecipant for this reason we will not charge your expensive until we have receive a confirmation from T.O.; our management is not responsible if for any reason Guest does not show up at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before departure, (major info and details will be produce to you at your arrival at the hotel), and/or Guest will lose contact with the guide or who do not complete the tour.
If for any reason the tour or excursion is cancelled from the T.O. you will be reimboursed of the amount paid only.
Where due to operational difficulties or reasons beyond its control (travel conditions, strikes, changes in opening hours, closure of museums, delays or other problems), the organisation is obliged to change the programme, then an alternative itinerary and/or visit to other museums will be proposed, without any variation to the established tariff, and Guests will be informed prior to departure.
Tours and excursions scheduled in our programme are covered by third-party insurance for the risk, the indemnity limits and the guarantees laid down in D.L. 111/95 with UNIPOL policy n. 758 65 21225701. Our Management and the Tour Operator decline any responsability for damage caused by third parties or for reasons beyond their control, and cannot be held responsible for the loss of valuables, luggages or objects during tours.
Any complaint from our Guest must be communicated in writing to the hotel staff within and no later than 10 business days after the date of the tour/excursion.
